Blog #3 – My daughter’s Is ONE! – Michael
my daughter, one this day
a year ago, eyes that wondered
she is my gift, my heart’s play
her focused stare, I pondered
my hand she hold’s, a step
she smiles as she let’s go
please take hold, another step
we laugh, as her head twist no
she wants to run, to fly
I’m not ready to release
more years, to reach the sky
I pray, protection never cease
one day, I will let her free
for now I cherish this time
my prayer for her I see
for God’s blessing, gift is mine

Blog #2 – boys vs girl – Michael
Father of 3 mohawks and 1 prisster (pretty sister).
NOW!!!
monster trucks vs stuffed animals
blue, red vs pink and pastels
pizza vs rice
mohawks vs hair ribbons
upset – video game doesn’t work vs upset because mommy left the room
sour vs sweet
mad vs tantrum
cell phone vs dolls
jeans vs skirt
Future???
girlfriends vs boyfriend
trucks vs convertible
cool vs pretty
politics vs drama
1 minute bath vs 1 hour
movie vs mall
motorcycle racing vs girl scouts
Change is good but the unknown is well I’m not so sure. I pray that I grow enough while in the NOW is going on that when the FUTURE comes I know what to do. Need the power to handle boys and be their example. Need the patience to raise a princess, gentleness to hug my girl. To know when to reach out, hold back, cry with, laugh, frown, or be a clown.
